Discover the charm of Cumbrae House, a splendid retreat nestled in Trebarwith Strand, near Tintagel This spacious abode comfortably accommodates 10-12 guests across 6 cosy bedrooms and 4 modern bathrooms.  It's the perfect base for your coastal adventures. Whether you're here to explore the rugged coastline or simply unwind in comfort, Cumbrae House offers the ideal blend of convenience and serenity for your stay.

Located just 150 meters from Trebarwith beach and with its recent refurbishment, Cumbrae House is the perfect home to host extended families. 

The home is set over two floors, on the ground floor you will find a large open kitchen -diner. The kitchen is fully equipped making it extremely easy to prepare home cooked food. Kitchen appliances include a double range oven with induction hob plus a separate microwave and multi function oven, dish washer, Nespresso coffee machine and both small and large fridge-freezer.

The large living room has ample seating and stunning views of Gull Rock and the sea. For cosy nights in, there is a wood burner (starter pack provided) a large TV with Netflix and Sonos music speaker.

A super-king bedroom with sea views, plus a separate bathroom with shower, can all be found on the ground floor.

The first floor hosts the sunroom, the perfect location to unwind with a book or by watching your favourite programme on the Smart TV. The sliding doors open up onto the sundeck.

There are five bedrooms, on the first floor which include, a bunkbed room (only suitable for those under 15 years old) one double, one king and one super-king bedroom, which can be converted into a twin room when required.All with sea views. The fifth bedroom is a spacious king with shower ensuite. There are two separate bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a shower over the bath. Finally a separate W/C plus utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. 

The outside area consists of a slate gravel garden, with excellent views towards the sea, a large seating area, with BBQ plus a private area with an outside shower. Cumbrae House has its own carpark, suitable for a maximum of 4 cars plus an EV* charging point.

*Cumbrae House is offered with a Friday changeover and a minimum of 7 nights during peak season. 3,4&5 night stays are welcome at all other times.

* A maximum of 10 adults and 2 children are permitted in the property. The person booking, must be over 18 years old.

*A maximum of 2 dogs over the age of 12 months  are welcome at a charge of £60. Dogs are not allowed upstairs, (a security gate is provided) or on the furniture. You must clean up after your pets.

* Smoking is strictly prohibited at the property.

*Private parking is available, a maximum of four cars must be adhered to. An electric charging point is available upon request and charges will be advised upon booking.

* A security deposit of £1000 is required prior to your arrival. The property will be assessed after your holiday, if no excessive cleaning is required, or loss, or damage is discovered you we will provide you with a full refund of the security deposit within 14 days.

A pre-authorization of €1158 is held on 1 days before arrival and voided on 7 days after departure

Truly the best holiday accommodation I have ever had

This house is incredible. We are English but live in Vancouver. We came to Trebarwith with our adult children and their partners to celebrate 20 years in Canada. We came to this beach when they were young and came multiple summers as they grew up. Emily kindly helped us to book and we were all super impressed. We had everything we could possibly need, the decor and the house itself was wonderful. There is so much room, we had a party of 6 adults. Walking distance to the beach, cliff walks and of course the Port William pub. As As I said truly an incredible place to stay. I hope we will be back in the not too distant future. We made many new memories, this house is now part of family folk lore!! Thankyou.
