Overseas is perched against the cliffs of Trebarwith Strand, offering breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and the surrounding valley. Located just 300 meters from the beach and the Southwest Coast Path, this idyllic property is perfect for a serene seaside retreat.
Accommodation Overview
The property is thoughtfully arranged over two storeys:
Ground Floor:
An open-plan living and dining area featuring a charming cast iron electric stove for cosy evenings.
A modern bathroom with a walk-in shower, toilet, and hand basin.
A fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine, and oven, ensuring all your culinary needs are met.
Second Floor:
Double Bedroom: A beautifully decorated room with a king-sized bed, and a private balcony overlooking the ocean – the perfect spot to enjoy sunrise and sunset.
Twin Bedroom: This room features two full-sized single beds, a wardrobe, and a balcony with picturesque views towards the top of the valley.
Outdoor Features
Upon arrival, you'll ascend a set of steps to the front of the property, leading to a spacious veranda. The veranda is equipped with outdoor dining facilities and a BBQ, ideal for al fresco meals with stunning coastal views.
Additional amenities include:
An outdoor toilet and shower – perfect for rinsing off after a day at the beach.
Two designated private parking spaces.
Important Considerations
Due to the steps and elevated position, the property is not suitable for children under 5, dogs, or those with mobility issues.
This is a non-smoking property.
Comfort and Convenience
With electric night storage heating and a cast iron electric stove, Overseas is a cosy haven year-round. All utilities are included in the rental price, and a welcome pack is provided to make your stay even more enjoyable.
Booking Information
Changeover Day: Friday changeover from Whit-sun to the end of October.
Minimum Stay: 3-night minimum let at other times.
A refundable cautionary deposit of £100 is required, payable with the balance. This deposit covers any excess cleaning or breakages and will be returned after departure.

Fabulous
Overseas is a great holiday property and we had a wonderful week as a family of 4. Bodyboarding, skimboarding, walks on the beach.... then having a short walk to a hot outdoor shower and all the comforts of a home from home. Weather and tides may have been against us at times, but Overseas was great!
Just wonderful
First time stay for me second time for my wife and daughter. This wonderful house is ideally situated for Trebarwith beach and the Port William pub. The property is very well presented and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The house is clean, very warm and has fantastic views over the valley, the Atlantic ocean and the mesmerising Gull Rock. We made several walks from the property along the coastal path and inland affording wonderful views of the sea and valleys.

A beautifully presented cottage with spectacular views to the beach - only a 2 minute walk away. Overseas is very well equipped and has everything you need for a perfect stay at the magical Trebarwith Strand.
A home away from home
Our 4th year staying at Overseas and it remains as magical as ever. Emily is a fantastic host. The property is extremely well managed and contains everything you could need for a very comfortable stay. Located moments from the beach, the excellent Strand Cafe, Surf Shop and Port William Pub, and enjoying stunning views of Gull Rock, it is our favourite place.

We absolutely loved staying at Overseas- great property, more spacious than we had expected. Outdoor shower was a great feature.
Just perfect
Our third year at Overseas having stayed in the Trebarwith / Tintagel area for over 20 years.This house is immaculate, quality, comfy beds and furnishings, well equipped, beautiful balcony views out to the sea and Gull Rock. The outdoor seating and outdoor hot shower are amazing! Manager Emily keeps us well informed and thank you for letting us access the property early on the first day of our stay - meant precious extra time on the beach!

A wonderful place to stay for a few days. The house is immaculate, well equipped and a 5 minute walk down to the beach. It’s also within easy reach of many other beautiful beaches and towns. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. Emily is a helpful and responsive host, and allowed us an early check-in.

Thank you for the most relaxing few days, over the new year! The sound of the sea and wind waking up every morning was magical! Can't wait to come back again and explore the area more.
Our first holiday
Such a wonderful stay in this very beautiful cottage and locations. I very much appreciate the beauty and attention to detail here. It has a real sense of hideaways. It's our first stay at Overseas, despite many stays in Trebarwith. Definitely will be returning - wonderful views and everything we needed. A full holiday with trips to Polzeath, Boscastle and Padstow, as well as experiencing the Arthurian grandeur of Tintagel and its castle. It was my first time wave jumping - we were at sea three times and managed an early morning dip at low tide, simply amazing. Our first holiday together and so full of love, the first of many.
